Dhaka, April 22 -- Home Advisor Lt Gen (Retd) Md Jahangir Alam Chowdhury has said mob justice will no longer be tolerated and called on people to seek legal redress instead of taking the law into their own hands.

"Mob justice will no longer be allowed. Enough is enough," he said while addressing a meeting with officials of the armed forces and various departments at Amitrakkhar, the conference room of the Deputy Commissioner's Office, Jashore on Monday.

"If you have complaints, resort to the legal means. The law and order situation has significantly improved compared to the past," he added.

Deputy Commissioner Md Azharul Islam and other local officials attended the meeting.
