Dhaka, April 15 -- A mild heat wave is sweeping over the districts of Dhaka, Tangail, Narayanganj, Madaripur, Moulvibazar, Rangamati, Cumilla, Chandpur, Feni, Khulna, Bagerhat and Patuakhali and the Chattogram Division's Sandwip and Sitakunda regions.

"This heat wave might abate from some places across the country," The Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) stated on Tuesday.

Day temperature may fall slightly, and night temperature may remain nearly unchanged over the country, the bulletin said.

Meanwhile, rain and thunder showers with lightning flashes and temporary gusty wind is likely to occur at few places over the Chattogram and Sylhet divisions and at one or two places over Rangpur, Rajshahi, Dhaka, Mymensingh, Khulna and Ba...
