Dhaka, July 2 -- Bangladesh Meteorological Department on Wednesday predicted rain or thundershowers with lightning flashes and temporary gusty wind over the country in the next 24 hours commencing 9:00 am.

"Light to moderate rain or thundershowers accompanied by temporary gusty wind is likely to occur at many places over Khulna, Barishal & Chattogram divisions and at a few places over Rajshahi, Rangpur, Dhaka, Mymensingh & Sylhet divisions with moderately heavy to heavy falls at places over Khulna, Barishal & Chattogram divisions," said a Met office bulletin issued this morning.
