Bangladesh, Feb. 11 -- More world leaders including the prime ministers of Malaysia and Armenia have extended their heartfelt congratulations to Awami League President Sheikh Hasina on her assumption of office as the prime minister for the fourth time.
"I wish to extend my warmest and sincere congratulations to Your Excellency on your reappointment as the Prime Minister of the People's Republic of Bangladesh," Malaysian Prime Minister Dr Mahathir Mohamad said in his message to Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina.
Dr Mahathir continued: "Your electoral victory in the 11th parliamentary elections was a resounding indication of support of the people of your country for your contribution to the development of Bangladesh's economy."
