Dhaka, Feb. 19 -- After clashes between the Anti-discrimination Student Movement and the Chhatra Dal, students of the Khulna University of Engineering and Technology (KUET) have boycotted all classes and examinations to push for a five-point list of demands.
The demands include a ban on student politics on campus and the resignation of the university's Vice-Chancellor Mohammad Mashud.
A group of students presented these demands at a press briefing at the KUET Central Medical Center on Tuesday night. However, they did not wish to disclose their names, bdnews24.com reports.
They alleged that the Chhatra Dal -- the student wing of the BNP -- and local BNP leaders and activists had carried out planned attacks on university students.
