Bangladesh, Jan. 16 -- Kosovo's newly-appointed Ambassador in Dhaka Guner Ureya placed proposal to sign agreement with Bangladesh to boost up bilateral trade and investment.

Ureya, during a meeting with Commerce Minister Tipu Munshi at his ministry office in the capital, said development activities of Bangladesh is visible and business people of Kosovo are interested to invest in Bangladesh's special economic zone (SEZ).

Mentioning the exchange of mutual visit of businessmen of both the countries could ease the investment process, the new envoy of East European country said: "An agreement to this end could encourage businessmen of both sides for trade and investment."
