Dhaka, July 12 -- Four accused have been arrested along with a firearm in connection with the brutal killing of a businessman outside Sir Salimullah Medical College, Mitford Hospital, over a dispute related to illegal wire trading.
The arrestees are Mahmudul Hasan Mohin (41) and Tarek Rahman Robin (22), DMP Deputy Commissioner Talebur Rahman said.
Acting on CCTV footage from the crime scene and conducting raids across various parts of the city, police arrested the two suspects in the incident. Police recovered a foreign-made pistol from Tarek Rahman Robin's possession.
A group of Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) personnel arrested two other suspects. However, the identities of the two arrestees could not be known immediately.
