Dhaka, Feb. 12 -- BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia is in "better health" at her son Tarique Rahman's home in London, according to her personal physician AZM Zahid Hossain.
"She's in a better mental state. Doctors have visited her at home and her condition is stable now," Zahid said.
The 79-year-old former prime minister has been suffering from a combination of liver cirrhosis, cardiac issues, kidney ailments and other health complications, reports UNB.
Khaleda flew to London on an air ambulance on Jan 8 for advanced medical treatment and was admitted to The London Clinic on the same day.
After undergoing various tests, she was discharged on Jan 25 and moved to her son Tarique's home, where she is receiving medical care.
