Dhaka, April 28 -- The interim government has established the July Mass Uprising Directorate to preserve the history of the uprising, support the families of those killed and injured, and promote its ideals at the national level.

A gazette notification announcing the formation of the directorate was issued on Monday by the Ministry of Liberation War Affairs.
