Dhaka, Jan. 13 -- Jahangirnagar University (JU) observed its 56th University Day on Monday (January 12, 2026) amid colourful programmes and wide participation of teachers, students, officials, employees, and alumni.

The day-long celebration began at 9:30 am with the gathering of teachers, students, officers, staff members, and invited guests at the Mrittamancha in front of the old Arts Building.
