Dhaka, Feb. 9 -- Jahangirnagar University (JU) commenced its admission test for the 2024-2025 academic year on Sunday with the 'D' unit exam under the Faculty of Biological Sciences.

On the first day, only the female candidates of the unit took the exam, with an attendance rate of approximately 85 per cent, according to exam officials.

The exam began at 9 am, was conducted in five shifts, and concluded at 4:15 pm.

During the morning session, Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr Mohammad Kamrul Ahsan visited the Faculty of Biological Sciences building to inspect the ongoing admission test.
