Dhaka, Feb. 6 -- Journalist Monir Haider has been appointed as the Special Assistant to Chief Adviser Dr Muhammad Yunus. A notification regarding his appointment was issued by the Ministry of Public Administration on Wednesday (February 5), with the rank of Senior Secretary.

Monir Haider is currently abroad but is expected to return to the country soon and assume his new role.
