Dhaka, Jan. 5 -- Over 200 job candidates who were excluded from the 43rd Bangladesh Civil Service, or BCS, have gathered at the Secretariat to submit reconsideration appeals to the Ministry of Public Administration.

The candidates came to the Secretariat on Sunday not only to inquire about the reasons for their exclusion but also to clarify their position and submit their applications for reconsideration, bdnews24.com.

Raihan Noor, one of the excluded candidates, said at the Secretariat gate: "We have come to submit our applications as per the instructions of the public administration ministry. We are not involved in any anti-state activities."
