Dhaka, Aug. 15 -- Another teacher of Milestone School and College who sustained serious burns during a recent deadly jet crash into one of the school buildings died at the National Institute of Burn and Plastic Surgery on Thursday.

Mahfuza Akter, 45, succumbed to her burns at 12:45 pm. With Mahfuza's death, the total number of fatalities from the tragic accident rises to 35, and the death toll at the Institute stands at 19.

She received burns to 25 per cent of her body. At the burn institute, 23 people are still receiving treatment, while 14 others have been discharged.
