Dhaka, Sept. 4 -- Students of Rajshahi University have protested against a Jatiyatabadi Chhatra Dal (JCD) leader over an 'offensive comment' on female students summoned to the hall office, leading to his suspension from the organisation.

The protest took place on Wednesday night in front of July 36 Hall, where the students gathered in anger over the remark, reports bdnews24.com

They demand strict punishment for cyberbullying, saying such abuse discourages women from joining politics.
