Dhaka, July 5 -- A deputy general manager of Janata Bank has been reported missing from Khilkhet in Dhaka city.

Mushfiqur Rahman has not been seen or heard from since around 12:30 pm on Friday, according to his family.

Khilkhet Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Md Sajjad Hossain said that they have received a general diary about Rahman's disappearance.

Efforts are on to trace his whereabouts, he added.

The general diary in brief is that Mr Rahman left his residence on Friday, saying he was going to attend Juma prayers but he has since been unreachable.

The OC said that they came to know that Mr Rahman actually did not go to the mosque that day.

"We are working to determine his location using digital tracking methods," he added....
