Dhaka, Aug. 30 -- The Inter-Services Public Relations Directorate (ISPR) has said a clash and chase-counter chase took place between activists of two political parties in Kakrail, Dhaka, creating unrest in the area.
The incident occurred around 8:00 pm, leaving several people injured and the army and police were deployed to control the situation, an ISPR release said last night.
Initially, the police tried to manage the situation, but at one stage, the violence increased, prompting the law enforcers to seek the army's help as some police members were also attacked when they went to the scene of the incident and some of them were injured, reports BSS.
