Dhaka, Oct. 23 -- Islami Bank Bangladesh PLC, in collaboration with Mastercard inaugurated a fully cashless university campus at Chattogram University under Bangladesh Bank's 'Cashless Bangladesh' initiative.

The transformation will enable teachers, students and visitors to conduct cashless transactions across campus, according to a press release.

As part of the initiative, Islami Bank in collaboration with Mastercard set up Bangla QR at cafeterias, bookstores, administrative offices, train station of Chittagong University.

In addition, an exclusive debit card for students has been launched through the ceremony, offering them a convenient and secure way to manage their daily financial needs.
