Dhaka, June 22 -- Supporters of BNP leader Ishraque Hossain have announced that they will reopen Nagar Bhaban, the administrative headquarters of the Dhaka City South Corporation (DSCC), on Monday.

However, they said that the rooms of the administrator and engineers will remain locked.

They made the announcement on Sunday after ending their protest at the Nagar Bhaban, which had been locked for around 39 days.

The protesters, under the banner of 'Dhakabashi' (Residents of Dhaka), also declared that no bills prior to August 5, 2024, will be allowed to be cleared.
