Dhaka, March 10 -- Injured protesters from the July Uprising and hospital staff members have reportedly been involved in a scuffle at the National Institute of Traumatology and Orthopaedic Rehabilitation, commonly known as Pangu Hospital, in Dhaka.

The incident occurred inside the hospital around 12:00 pm on Monday, according to Ibn Mizan, deputy commissioner of the Dhaka Metropolitan Police's Tejgaon Division, bdnews24.com reports.

"A clash broke out between the students and the hospital staff. Police are on-site to maintain order," he said.

A hospital staffer, asking to remain anonymous for safety reasons, revealed that tensions had been brewing for some time between hospital workers and the injured students.
