Dhaka, March 13 -- The police have rescued an infant abducted from Thakurgaon Sadar Hospital. The child was found in Gazipur two days after the abduction. Four individuals have been arrested over the incident.

The child was rescued from Mulaid village in Sreepur Upazila on Tuesday night, according to Shahidur Rahman, officer-in-charge of Thakurgaon Sadar Police Station.

The four arrestees have been identified as Sonali Akhter Shirin, 20, her husband Md Raju Kabiraj, 22, Md Liton Mia, 35, and his wife Lovely Begum, 32, reports bdnews24.com.

Shonali and Raju are from Nultala village in Gaibandha's Gobindaganj Upazila, whereas Liton and Lovely are from Chokpara village in Netrokona's Kalmakanda Upazila.
