Dhaka, Oct. 15 -- India's postal department has announced the resumption of all postal services to the United States from October 15.

The federal ministry of communications on Tuesday said the postal department has established a compliant mechanism for Delivery Duty Paid processing after extensive system development and coordination with the U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP), reports Xinhua.

According to the ministry, under this new arrangement, all applicable customs duties on shipments to the United States will be collected upfront in India at the time of booking and remitted directly to CBP through approved qualified parties.
