Dhaka, Nov. 24 -- Under the refinancing initiative of Bangladesh Bank, an open credit disbursement program was organized as part of the Tk. 7.50 billion revolving Refinancing Scheme designed for marginal and landless farmers, low-income professionals, school banking account holders and small businessmen maintaining Tk. 10/50/100 accounts.

The program was held on 21 November 2025 at an auditorium in Munshiganj Sadar with the participation of 32 scheduled banks. IFIC Bank PLC hosted the event as the lead bank, according to a press release.
