Dhaka, Oct. 10 -- TIME has named a gut-restoring complementary food for undernourished children developed by icddr,b and Washington University to TIME's Best Inventions of 2025.
The complementary developed through a long-standing collaboration between the International Centre for Diarrhoeal Disease Research, Bangladesh (icddr,b) and Washington University in St. Louis, to TIME's list in the Social Impact category, according to a statement of icddr,b on Friday.
Despite progress in recent decades, under-nutrition remains a major threat to child survival and development worldwide, contributing to nearly half of all under-five deaths.
