Dhaka, May 28 -- The High Court has postponed the hearing of a writ petition filed by some former workers of Marico Bangladesh Limited over a claim of Tk 18.23 billion.
A High Court division bench consisting of Justice Fahmida Quader and Justice Mubina Asaf on Tuesday directed that the hearing will be held after Eid-ul-Azha.
Nineteen former employees of Marico Bangladesh on May 14 this year filed a petition with the High Court, seeking Tk 18.23 billion from the 'Workers' Participation Fund' and the 'Workers' Welfare Fund' as dues owed to them.
