Dhaka, July 22 -- The government has introduced two 'toll-free helpline' for emergency assistance in the Bangladesh Air Force (BAF) fighter aircraft crash in the capital's Uttara area.

The toll-free helpline '109' was introduced at the Ministry of Women and Children's Affairs' and '1098' at the Ministry of Social Welfare, BSS reports citing a government press release.

The death toll has risen to 31 people including 25 children, a pilot and a teacher after Bangladesh Air Force (BAF) FT-7 BGI fighter aircraft crashed into a building of Milestone School and College in the capital's Uttara area on Monday afternoon.
