Dhaka, March 3 -- Health and Family Welfare Ministry has placed 29 civil surgeons across the country in the position of Officers on Special Duty (OSD).

The directive was issued in a notification signed by Deputy Secretary of the Health Services Division Sanjeeda Sharmin on Sunday, BSS reports.

As per the notification, the transferred or reassigned officials must join their new workplaces by March 6, 2025. Otherwise, they will be considered released from their current postings effective from March 9, 2025, said a press release here today.
