Bangladesh, Aug. 23 -- The High Court on Thursday issued a rule upon the Square Hospitals and other respondents to explain as to why their impugned inaction in not taking any steps to provide full medical support and treatment to the petitioner in connection with the physical damage to the petitioner due to negligence during surgery in the hospital on January 23, 2019 should not be declared illegal.
The court also said in the ruling as to why the respondents should not be directed to pay a compensation amounting to Tk 05 crore to the petitioner and to provide necessary medical treatment and support to the petitioner free of cost for his entire life.
