Bangladesh, Oct. 21 -- Nine additional judges have been appointed to the High Court (HC) Division of the Supreme Court, raising its number to 100.
President Md Abdul Hamid has appointed them as per his jurisdiction delegated in Section 98 of the Constitution, said a gazette notification issued by the law ministry on Sunday.
The newly appointed additional judges are: District and Sessions Judge Muhammad Mahbub-ul-Islam, District and Sessions Judge Shahed Nuruddin, SC Registrar General Dr Md Zakir Hossain, District and Sessions Judge Md Akhtaruzzaman, Supreme Court Advocate Md Mahmud Hasan Talukder, Advocate Kazi Ebadat Hossain, Deputy Attorney General KM Zahid Sarwar, Deputy Attorney General AKM Zahirul Haque and Deputy Attorney General Ka...
