Bangladesh, Jan. 13 -- Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina will hold a meeting with the heads of Bangladesh missions in nine Middle Eastern countries today (Monday), foreign minister Dr AK Abdul Momen said on Sunday.

The meeting will be held in Abu Dhabi during her three-day visit to the United Arab Emirates (UAE), the minister said while briefing reporters in the city on the PM's visit.

The prime minister left for Abu Dhabi on Sunday afternoon.

Asked about the PM's frequent visit to the UAE, Dr Momen said Bangladesh gives high importance to its ties with the UAE.

"We received a number of big investment proposals from the UAE during her previous visit there," he added.
