Dhaka, June 29 -- The Ministry of Information and Broadcasting has taken a preliminary decision to establish the BCS Information Academy.

This academy will be built at a convenient location in the city, BSS reports citing a press release.

This decision was taken at a meeting held at the ministry recently with Information and Broadcasting Adviser Md. Mahfuj Alam in the chair.

Regarding the establishment of the BCS Information Academy, Mahfuj Alam said that the activities to establish this academy will be started during the current interim government.

If the BCS Information Academy is established, it will play an effective role in developing the skills of information service officials, he added.
