Dhaka, Sept. 3 -- Unlike the tax-revenue incomes, the government's non-tax revenue saw a steep rise until May of the last fiscal year (FY) 2024-25, according to official data.
The volume of non-tax revenue, collected during the July-May period of the last fiscal year, was Tk 530.45 billion, reflecting a 43 per cent growth over that in the corresponding period of the previous fiscal, it was learnt.
However, the figure was about 32.387 per cent higher than the non-tax revenue collection of the entire fiscal year 2023-24, data from the Ministry of Finance showed.
In the entire FY '2024, the government collected non-tax revenue amounting to Tk 400.68 billion, according to the official figures.
