Dhaka, Dec. 7 -- The Bangladesh Government Employees Coordination Council (BGECC) has called upon the government to meet their five-point charter of demands including implementation of pay commission from the next year (1st January 2026).

The council also urged the government to reinstate time scale and selection grade, ensuring cent per cent pension system and forming National Service Commission along with formulating rules for the Secretariat- like appointments.

BGECC leaders were addressing a rally at Abdul Gani Road (Secretariat road) in the capital on Saturday.
