Dhaka, June 15 -- After the Eid holidays, government employees in Bangladesh are set to resume their protests demanding the repeal of the Public Service (Amendment) Ordinance, 2025.

On Monday, June 16, officials and staff will gather at the Secretariat for a mass assembly and later submit memorandums to three advisers, according to local media.

Md. Nazrul Islam, Co-General Secretary of the Secretariat Officers-Employees Unity Forum, confirmed the development. He stated that employees would gather at Badamtala in the Secretariat at 10:30 AM, after which memorandums would be submitted to the advisers of Home Affairs, Social Welfare, and Housing & Public Works. Forum leaders are also expected to announce fresh programmes.
