Dhaka, April 6 -- A German delegation consisting of different business stakeholders arrived in Dhaka on Sunday on a five-day visit that underscores Germany's "strong belief" in Bangladesh's economic potential and its commitment to expand bilateral trade to mutual benefit.
Germany remains one of Bangladesh's most significant economic partners, with total bilateral trade amounting to USD 9.81 billion in 2024, according to the German Embassy in Dhaka.
The delegation includes representatives from the German Federal Foreign Office, the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Action, Germany Trade & Invest (GTAI), the German Export Credit Agency (Euler Hermes), GIZ and company representatives, reports UNB.
