Dhaka, Feb. 11 -- Law, Justice, and Parliamentary Affairs Adviser Asif Nazrul has said the International Crimes Tribunal (ICT) would deliver its judgment in three to four cases, filed over allegations of genocide that took place during the uprising in July and August last year, within October this year.

The adviser gave the information at a press conference at the secretariat in Dhaka on Tuesday, according to local news portals.

He said the prosecution team lodged a total of 16 cases after scrutinising more than 300 allegations.

Ousted prime minister Sheikh Hasina, top leaders of the Awami League, and top-level officials of the deposed government were made accused in the cases.
