Dhaka, May 17 -- Aparajita 24 Foundation, a voluntary non-profit run mostly by Bangladeshi expatriates in the USA, has been launched in Dhaka to support the victims of the July 2024 uprising and their families.

The foundation has already rehabilitated 12 severely injured students and professionals and treated 50 others who lost either one eye or both and body parts during the July movement at home and abroad in cooperation of local-level organisations.

The information was revealed during an exchange of views among stakeholders at the launching ceremony of the foundation held at the Banani DOHS Club on Saturday.
