Dhaka, Aug. 31 -- Two people have been killed and another person seriously injured after they were attacked over a prior feud in Netrokona's Sadar Upazila.

The attack occurred around midnight on Saturday in the Jamati village area as the victims were on their way back from a BNP rally, according to Kazi Shahnewaz, chief of Netrokona Model Police Station.

Police say one of the dead is a former member of a union council, but could not provide any additional details on the victims, reports bdnews24.com.

The bodies have been recovered and sent to the Netrokona Sadar Hospital morgue, OC Shahnewaz said. An inquest report has also been prepared. The injured victim has been sent to Mymensingh Medical College Hospital.
