Dhaka, July 12 -- Five individuals have so far been arrested for their suspected involvement in the killing of scrap trader Sohag near Sir Salimullah Medical College and Mitford Hospital in Old Dhaka on July 9.
Two of the arrestees, Mahmudul Hasan Mohin, 41, named as the prime suspect, and Tarek Rahman Robin, 22, were taken on remand for different durations in two separate cases - one for murder and one under the Arms Act - filed with Kotwali Police Station.
In the latest drive in the Zindabahar area under Kotwali Police Station, the police arrested another accused in the case, Md Titon Gazi, 33, around 1:00 am on Saturday.
