Dhaka, March 12 -- A fire that broke out at Sattala slum in the capital's Mohakhali area early Wednesday was doused after almost two hours of effort.
According to the Fire Service control room, eight firefighting units reached the spot and brought the flames under control around 5:20 am.
Earlier, the fire broke out around 3:45 am on Wednesday, according to local media reports.
Shihab Sarkar, on duty firefighter at the control room, said that the cause of the blaze is yet to be confirmed.
