Dhaka, April 6 -- The export-import activities at Satkhira's Bhomra land port have resumed on Sunday after a nine-day shutdown due to Eid holidays.
The port's operations resumed in full swing from 9 am on Sunday (April 6).
General Secretary of Bhomra Land Port C&F Association Abu Musa told BSS that his association after a meeting with the C&F Agent Cargo Welfare Association of Ghojadanga in West Bengal, decided to suspend all sort of export-import activities from March 28 to April 5 through this land port, reports BSS.
Officer-in-Charge (OC) of the Bhomra Immigration authority Tufan Dulal Mondal told this correspondent that though the import-export activities were suspended at that time but movement of passport holders was as usual.
