Dhaka, June 29 -- Bangladesh's remittance inflow has witnessed 7.1 per cent year-on-year growth, reaching $2.54 billion in the first 28 days of June.
During the same period last year, the country's remittance inflow stood at $2.37 billion, reports BSS.
According to the latest data of Bangladesh Bank (BB) released on Sunday, expatriates have sent remittances of $30 billion during the July 2024 - 28 June 2025 of the current fiscal year, which was only $23.75 billion during the same period of the previous fiscal year.
Accordingly, remittances have increased by 26.5 per cent.
