Dhaka, March 14 -- The namaz-e-janaza (funeral prayer) for former Dhaka University vice-chancellor Professor A A M S Arefin Siddique will be held on Friday after the Jumma prayer at Dhanmondi Eidgah ground.

He will later be laid to rest next to the grave of his parents at the Azimpur graveyard.

His younger brother, Saifullah Siddique, confirmed the information at a press conference on Thursday, according to local media reports.
