Dhaka, Jan. 28 -- A woman was allegedly stabbed to death by her ex-husband in the capital's Hazaribagh area on Monday evening.

The victim, identified as Julekha, 45, was attacked while walking in the Jhauchar area at around 8:00 pm. She was rushed to Dhaka Medical College Hospital, where doctors declared her dead at 8:45 pm, as per a UNB report.

Shankha Banerjee, duty officer of Hazaribagh Police Station, said, "We received the information at around 9:30 pm and immediately dispatched officers to the scene. We came to know that the woman died in the hospital."
