Dhaka, Feb. 13 -- Former president of Dhaka Chamber of Commerce and Industry (DCCI) ATM Waziullah died of old-age complications at the age of 87 at United Hospital in the capital on Wednesday.
He left behind a son, two daughters and a host of relatives, friends and well-wishers to mourn his death.
President of DCCI Taskeen Ahmed and members of the Board of Directors expressed their profound shock at his death and extended their sympathy to the bereaved family members.
ATM Waziullah was a renowned entrepreneur and had served as the president of DCCI in 1993. He was the chairman of Kobeda Group of Companies engaged in manufacturing and indenting business for a long time.
