Dhaka, Sept. 29 -- The academic programme of the Economic Reporters Forum's institute (ERF Institute) began its journey on Monday.

Finance Adviser Dr Salehuddin Ahmed inaugurated the programme at the ERF premises by unveiling a plaque.

A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between the ERF Institute and the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Bangladesh (ICAB) on the occasion.

ERF General Secretary Abul Kashem and ICAB Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Shubhashish Bose signed the MoU at the beginning of a seminar titled "Financial Transparency in the Corporate Sector."

ERF President Doulot Akter Mala and ICAB President N K A Mobin witnessed the signing of the MoU.
