Dhaka, Nov. 16 -- RAJSHAHI, Nov 15: Distinguished Fellow at the Centre for Policy Dialogue (CPD) Dr Debapriya Bhattacharya has said that national elections in Bangladesh are gradually becoming an inevitable process.

"The upcoming polls will be timely, participatory and credible, ultimately contributing to the country's future transformation," he made the remarks on Saturday after a regional consultation meeting organised by the Citizen's Platform for SDGs, Bangladesh, in Rajshahi as part of its pre-election civic engagement initiative.

Representatives from various professional and social groups in the region took part in the dialogue.
