Dhaka, June 7 -- All Eid-ul-Azha congregations, including the main prayer at the National Mosque Baitul Mukarram, were organised peacefully in Dhaka city on Saturday, with no breach reported of the highest level of security provided by Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP).

The Eid prayers took place on Saturday from 7:00 am to 11:00 am across various locations in the capital. Thousands of worshippers joined the congregations, reports UNB.

Following the prayers, special munajat (supplications) were offered seeking the welfare of the country, the well-being of the Muslim Ummah, continued national progress, prosperity, and peace for the people of Bangladesh. Devotees also exchanged Eid greetings among themselves.
