Dhaka, Jan. 20 -- Eastern Bank (EBL), in partnership with the Alzheimer Society of Bangladesh (ASB), has launched a scholarship program to develop skilled dementia caregivers in Bangladesh under its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative.
A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed at EBL's Head Office recently. EBL Company Secretary Md. Abdullah Al Mamun FCS handed over the scholarship cheque to ASB General Secretary Md. Azizul Haque, according to a press release.
Under the agreement, 20 underprivileged youths will receive full scholarships to undertake the NSDA-approved "Dementia Care (Level-3)" course. The six-month program comprises 360 hours of professional training aimed at creating qualified, home-based dementia care...
