Dhaka, Jan. 30 -- The Dhaka University Central Students' Union (DUCSU) staged a protest march at Dhaka University on Wednesday night, condemning the killing of a Jamaat-e-Islami leader in Sherpur and demanding justice for the ongoing election-related violence across the country.
The protest was organised in response to the death of Rezawul Karim, secretary of the Jamaat-e-Islami Jhenaigati upazila unit, who was reportedly killed during clashes between BNP and Jamaat activists on Tuesday.
The march began at around 12:00 am from the VC Chattar and proceeded through various roads on the campus before concluding with a brief rally in front of the Raju Sculpture.
